On Thursday, January 2nd, Moms for Liberty announced the launch of M4LU, an academic initiative designed to inform, equip, and empower parents in navigating the ideologies and challenges their children face in the classroom. Kicking off in Spring 2025, M4LU will offer parents valuable tools and knowledge to help them advocate for their children’s education.

M4LU’s mission is to provide parents with the tools and knowledge needed to address challenges in education. Its Resource Library will be a key starting point for parents looking to gain a deeper understanding of various educational issues, particularly those ideologies shaping today’s school systems.

In the 2025 Spring and Fall semesters, M4LU will cover major topics ranging from Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to Marxism, offering multiple ways for parents to engage. Each month will focus on a specific issue, providing a comprehensive learning experience that includes live lectures, virtual courses, book clubs, and watch parties. M4LU will support these events with a Parent Toolkit, available through the M4LU Resource Library for ongoing reference.

In January 2025, M4LU will focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) with a series of events. SEL 101 will be live-streamed on January 8th at 6 PM CST/7 PM EST. On January 14th at 7 PM EST, author Abigail Shrier will lead SEL 102, discussing her book Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren’t Growing Up. A virtual watch party for The Coddling of the American Mind will be held on January 21st at 6:30 PM EST, followed by a live Q&A. Last, on January 28th at 1 PM EST, M4LU will host a Book Club on The Anxious Generation with Tiffany Justice and Dr. Jennifer Kom.

Parents can access these events, which will be recorded and available in the SEL Parent Toolkit on the M4LU website. The toolkit also includes the M4LU SEL SmartBook, a resource that parents are encouraged to download, read, and share.

With this new initiative, parents have a dedicated platform to access the knowledge and resources necessary to make well-informed choices about the education system. For more information and to access the M4LU Resource Library, visit M4LU.org.
